Putting Industrial Robotics into Practice

We were pleased to welcome a group of students from the University of Eastern Finland’s (UEF) Summer School on Industrial Robotics and Automated Systems. The international group included participants from six countries.

The students toured our production facilities and learned how robotics and automation are used in welding. The active and engaged group asked many insightful questions about topics such as the frequency of sensor checks in the welding process, methods for measuring welding quality, and robot positioning accuracy.

The discussions offered a fascinating, in-depth look at robotic welding. We particularly enjoyed showing these future professionals how automation is used in modern engineering and manufacturing.
