From International Students to the Metalli Team

The international students who completed their work placements at Outokummun Metalli have now finished their studies and graduated from Riveria in May 2026. Three students graduated with qualifications as plater-welders and one as a machinist.

The students completed their studies with good results, and Outokummun Metalli’s supervisors presented them with scholarships at the graduation ceremony. Employment contracts have been signed with all four graduates, and they started their permanent positions at Outokummun Metalli at the beginning of June.

Providing students with opportunities for practical training and employment is part of Outokummun Metalli’s long-term commitment to developing skilled professionals for the metal industry and encouraging them to build their careers in the region.
