Harvester heads
Outokummun Metalli manufactures harvester heads used in wheeled John Deere harvesters, as well as Waratah harvester heads sold as separate deliveries. At our factory in Outokumpu, we complete the steel structures for the harvester heads, including bending, welding, machining, painting, and mechanical assembly.
The harvester heads are finished with electrical and hydraulic assembly as well as testing by Waratah OM Oy in Joensuu, after which the products are integrated into harvesters at John Deere’s Joensuu factory. John Deere Forestry is also responsible for the marketing and sales of the harvester heads.
John Deere harvester heads are renowned for their productivity, reliability, and particularly their measuring accuracy. In addition to measuring accuracy, the key features of the H400 and H200 series harvester heads include efficient feeding and excellent delimbing quality. You can learn more about the range and features of the harvesting heads on the John Deere product pages.
Under the Waratah brand, harvester heads are supplied for track-based base machines and other applications delivered globally as separate deliveries.
Harvester head spare parts
Outokummun Metalli also manufactures spare parts for harvester heads, such as delimbing knives and feed rollers. We supply original spare parts to John Deere’s spare parts service. We ensure the delivery of spare parts for older models for a period of 15 years after the model’s production has ceased.
