Opportunities for students and graduates

We offer several internship and summer job opportunities each year for students. We are also open to collaborating on thesis projects. At our company, practical skills and a strong motivation to develop expertise and produce high-quality work are highly valued. If you have an internship or research project related to manufacturing in the metal industry in mind, or if you have recently completed your studies, we encourage you to get in touch with us.

Active collaboration with educational institutions

We collaborate in various ways with these local educational institutions:

Our collaboration includes factory tours for student groups, presenting our company at student events, development projects for production technologies, and offering internship and work-based learning opportunities.

We are also happy to provide information about the metal industry to primary school students. Each year, we participate in Kummun School’s company visit day for 8th graders. At events organized by the Outokumpu Image Working Group, we present the metal industry and the job opportunities at our company to 9th graders. In 2024, we became the sponsor company for Kummun School’s 3B class. As their sponsor, we offer company visits and enable fun leisure activities for the pupils.
